Lodes Jim is Patrick Norguet’s pendant family combining metal shades with contrasting methacrylate suspension hooks.
Bell, cone and cylinder forms reinterpret workshop lights at a smaller scale, while Jim Dome uses a broader rounded shade. White interiors reflect light from replaceable E26 LED bulbs. Compatible pendant compositions can repeat the smaller shapes, with the hook and shade retaining separate material identities across the different forms.
Patrick Norguet studied design in Paris and established his studio after his Rainbow Chair attracted Giulio Cappellini's attention in 2000. His approach centers on collaboration with manufacturers, bringing visual research together with production knowledge, technical requirements and the practical use of the finished object.
