Lago Design UpGlass by Daniele Lago includes coffee and bedside tables with angled joints linking their tops and transparent supports.
The 45-degree detailing gives the adjoining glass surfaces a continuous outer outline. Colored, smoked and XGlass versions change their reflection, transparency or printed pattern. Bedside tables are freestanding without wall fittings, while the coffee table rests on two transparent supporting panels, leaving the space beneath its broader top visible.
Daniele Lago studied at the Scuola Italiana Design in Padua before joining the family furniture company in the early 2000s. His work connects product design with the development of the LAGO brand, considering the relationships between people, technology and the spaces they inhabit.
