The Steps collection by Lago

Lago Design Steps by Monica Graffeo includes chairs and stools whose seats and backs are formed from industrial felt.

Narrow strips stand on edge within an exposed aluminum frame, creating a repeated linear surface across both parts of the seating. The chair provides a dining format, while the stool offers a specified height to coordinate with a counter. The stool's felt and aluminum components can be separated at the end of use.

We show Lago by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.

How long do Steps orders take?

Made-to-order pieces typically ship from the factory in 12–16 weeks.

Why don't I see prices on the pieces?

Steps is configured — size, material and finish all move the number. Request a quote and you get one written price that already includes delivery and installation.
