Armchairs and ottomans.
Lago Design Soft by Daniele Lago includes a bench and an indoor swing seat with flexible wooden surfaces.
Small sections of lacquered wood form a mosaic above a foam layer, allowing the seat to yield under body pressure. The bench offers a freestanding seating format, while the swing suspends the flexible panel indoors. Different lacquer colors change the appearance of the segmented panel without altering its wood-and-foam construction.
Daniele Lago studied at the Scuola Italiana Design in Padua before joining the family furniture company in the early 2000s. His work connects product design with the development of the LAGO brand, considering the relationships between people, technology and the spaces they inhabit.
