Lago Design Sand by Daniele Lago includes an armchair and modular sofas with rounded upholstered volumes.
The armchair has a 105 cm square footprint, while sofas combine seat modules in different sizes above metal supports. Sofa backs can be fixed or freestanding; movable versions contain weights that let their position change across the seating surface. The family retains the same curved upholstery language while offering different degrees of flexibility within its separate seating forms.
Daniele Lago studied at the Scuola Italiana Design in Padua before joining the family furniture company in the early 2000s. His work connects product design with the development of the LAGO brand, considering the relationships between people, technology and the spaces they inhabit.
