Lago Design Et Voilà is a wardrobe collection by Daniele Lago that closes storage with a broad, tensioned fabric surface.
The textile slides aside along concealed tracks, leaving a continuous front when shut. Standard wardrobes use a magnetic closing system and concealed maintenance zippers, with internal fittings selected for the storage layout. Weightless children's versions suspend the cabinet composition from multiple wall attachments, keeping space below the textile-fronted storage open.
Daniele Lago studied at the Scuola Italiana Design in Padua before joining the family furniture company in the early 2000s. His work connects product design with the development of the LAGO brand, considering the relationships between people, technology and the spaces they inhabit.
