Gufram Attica pairs a rounded seat with a coffee table, both designed by Studio 65 as fragments of a fluted classical column.
Hand-finished soft polyurethane gives the stone-like exterior an unexpected construction. The seat cuts away the column’s upper section to form a back and sides around a cushion. The lower Attica TL table adds a reversible mirrored top. Both pieces have coated bodies suitable for indoor and outdoor placement.
Studio 65 began in 1965 as a group of architecture students whose interests extended to painting, film, theater and music. Influenced by American Pop Art and avant-garde culture, the collective developed furniture with Gufram, including the Bocca sofa and Capitello seating.
