Cattelan Italia Norma includes upholstered stools with smooth or diamond-quilted backs and two fixed seating heights.
The original versions cover the steel legs as well as the seat and back; ML leaves the metal supports exposed. Couture adds diamond stitching to either base treatment. Fixed covering choices vary by model and include fabric, micro nubuck, leather or faux leather, so the frame treatment and back detailing can be selected independently within the range.
Paolo Cattelan joined the furniture company founded by his parents, Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, and took its leadership in 2014. His product work includes the Smart design from 1998. His career connects furniture development with the growth of the family's manufacturing business.
