Cattelan Italia Giselle includes dining and lounge armchairs with exposed ash frames surrounding separate padded seats and backs.
The wooden structure continues through the arms, leaving an open gap between the upholstered sections. The dining chair uses tapered legs, while Giselle Lounge lowers and broadens the seating proportions. Fixed fabric, micro nubuck, leather or faux-leather coverings contrast with the wood; an additional cushion can be selected separately for the lounge version.
Maurizio Manzoni graduated in architecture in Florence in 1994 and founded StudioMEMO in 2001. His work spans interiors, graphics, exhibition stands and textile design, as well as boat and yacht projects. His design process brings together prototyping, technical consultation and collaboration with manufacturers.
