Cattelan Italia Arcadia includes upholstered stools with solid beech frames and either a smooth or diamond-quilted back.
The original accepts fabric, micro nubuck, leather or faux leather, while Arcadia Couture uses leather or faux leather with stitched diamonds across the backrest. Covers remain fixed to the upholstered portions of both designs. Two stool formats change the raised seating proportions while preserving the visible wood frame and shared outline.
Paolo Cattelan joined the furniture company founded by his parents, Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, and took its leadership in 2014. His product work includes the Smart design from 1998. His career connects furniture development with the growth of the family's manufacturing business.
