OEO Studio
OEO Studio is a design studio founded in Copenhagen in 2003 by Thomas Lykke and Anne-Marie Buemann, with a second office in Tokyo. Lykke, born in 1971, trained as a fashion designer in Copenhagen and San Francisco and was interiors editor of Wallpaper* magazine from 2000 to 2003 before leading the studio's design; Buemann, trained in international marketing, worked at the Danish Embassy in Paris before becoming the studio's managing partner. The studio works across furniture, products, interiors and architecture and calls its approach compelling minimalism: Scandinavian clarity and restraint joined to a long study of Japanese craft and aesthetics.
