Billie Dining Chair
The Billie dining chair by Ditre Italia brings three simple volumes together: a broad base, a padded seat and an enveloping curved backrest.
Designed by Dainelli Studio, its fully upholstered appearance emphasizes the sculptural relationship between these parts. Fabric and leather options let the covering carry through the chair’s compact, rounded silhouette.
Every detail, considered.

The Billie dining chair by Ditre Italia places a curved padded back and seat above a cylindrical base.
Molded plywood and foam create its upholstered form, with fabric or leather covering that remains fixed. Designed by Dainelli Studio, the chair measures 22½ inches wide, 20⅞ inches deep and 29⅞ inches high. Its broad central support leaves the base visually distinct from the seat above.

Dainelli Studio
Dainelli Studio was founded in 2007 by Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli, who divide its work between product design, Leonardo's side, and interiors, Marzia's. Leonardo, from Pisa, trained in furniture and industrial design in Florence and worked with architects and designers through the 1990s before turning to furniture design and consulting in 2002; Marzia, born in Milan, graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2001. The studio worked from Pisa for more than a decade, and the marble quarries, light and craft of Tuscany still mark its style, before moving to Milan, where it now works for houses including Arketipo, for which it has designed since 2013, beginning with the Goldfinger sofa and continuing with Belair and Mayfair, as well as Giorgetti, Lema, Gallotti&Radice, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Fiam, Contardi and Mogg. On this site its pieces appear across Arketipo, Ditre Italia and Mogg.
