Out of Scale Cabinet
Elena Salmistraro's Out of Scale Cabinet for Cappellini treats a sideboard like a small piece of architecture.
A black metal frame surrounds a central compartment with sliding reeded-glass doors, beneath an acid-etched glass top. Matte-lacquered interior shelves contrast with the transparent surfaces, giving the raised storage unit a layered, graphic appearance.
Every detail, considered.
