Digital Garden Carpet
Digital Garden by Susan Fang and Orelio De Jonghe for Moooi turns text characters into a botanical carpet design.
Up close, coded ASCII marks build the image; from farther away, they become flowers, foliage and color gradients. Rosetta Dawn, Dusk and Midnight appear in round and organic shapes. The carpets combine a polyamide pile with woven polypropylene backing.
