Italo Rota was a Milan-trained architect whose practice extended from products to urban design. His projects included work on the Musée National d'Art Moderne at the Centre Pompidou with Gae Aulenti, as well as museum interiors and lighting in Paris. For Driade, he designed the Modesty Veiled armchair.
