De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi began working together in 1966. Their collaboration encompassed architecture, furniture, objects, exhibitions and urban planning, with an interest in industrial materials and temporary structures. They received the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, and their work for Driade includes the Ipercubo seating system.
