Vondom Manta is an armchair collection by Eugeni Quitllet with a curved polypropylene shell and outward-sweeping arms.
Cantilever, metal swivel, wooden swivel and caster bases offer different supports beneath the same seat. The cantilever version is suitable for indoor and outdoor settings; the swivel and mobile designs serve interior dining, meeting and workspace arrangements. Base construction changes while the raised back and wing-like upper outline remain consistent.
Eugeni Quitllet is a Catalan designer born in Ibiza who studied at Barcelona's La Llotja art school. His work connects drawing and sculpture with product development. His furniture explores the relationship between open and solid forms, including seating and lighting collections for Vondom.
