The Penrose collection by Tonelli

Tonelli Design Penrose pairs a console and desk by Isao Hosoe with Lucia Fontana and Masaya Hashimoto.

Precisely cut glass planes meet at angles to form asymmetric supports beneath the upper surfaces. Extra-clear glass keeps the intersections and space below visible. The shallow console serves display needs, while the larger desk extends the same angled structure into a work surface. Both use the changing geometry of the glass as their defining feature.

The pieces. Two in the collection.
