Tonelli Design Metropolis includes dining, coffee and side tables and a console by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà.
Intersecting glass panels form the supports, remaining visible beneath transparent tops or contrasting with opaque surfaces. Glass, fused-glass and ceramic-on-glass options vary by table. The XXL dining format repeats the geometry under a larger surface, while compact and shallow versions bring the same angular construction beside seating or into an entrance.
Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà is an industrial designer with experience developing die-casting and plastic molds. His work combines technical product development with furniture and lighting design. He has collaborated with manufacturers including Artemide and Tonelli Design, applying production knowledge to the shaping of objects and light.
