Bontempi Casa Kimono includes dining tables and shallow consoles with shaped metal supports.
Dining versions use broad curved steel elements beneath fixed or extending rectangular and barrel-shaped tops. Wood, glass and ceramic-based surfaces vary across the available sizes. Consoles use veneer or SuperMarble tops in 145 and 175 cm widths, both 45 cm deep. The different table proportions retain the contrast between a broad horizontal surface and the formed support below.
e-ggs is a design studio formed by Gaia Giotti, Giona Scarselli, Cristina Razzanelli and Erica De Candido. The team has worked across product design, interiors and architecture since 2013. Its approach brings together the members' architectural and design experience, with an emphasis on clear, practical objects.
