Bontempi Casa Amelie by Cuno Frommherz includes dining chairs and barstools with curved upholstered shells.
Chairs offer metal or solid-wood frames with tapered supporting profiles. Stools use either four fixed metal legs or a separate swivel base with chromed gas-lift height adjustment. Fabric, velvet and leather coverings vary the texture of the padded upper form, preserving the same seating outline across table-height and elevated arrangements.
Cuno Frommherz develops products through an interest in space, perception and the relationship between objects and people. His design approach considers the space around a piece as part of its identity, seeking forms that can become part of an individual's everyday surroundings.
