Bonaldo Flatiron by Mauro Lipparini includes desks, coffee tables and dining tables with rounded or asymmetrical outlines.
The desk places a veneer top on broad supports and integrates a cable slot within a metal insert. Coffee tables use offset panel bases beneath round or trapezoidal tops in two heights. Dining versions extend those shapes into different wood, marble, glass and ceramic pairings, with the base material depending on the chosen top construction.
Mauro Lipparini is an architect and designer who graduated in Florence in 1980. His practice, Studio Lipparini, works with clients across Europe and Asia. He remains the author of the studio's designs, developing furniture and other projects through close involvement with clients and the process of making.
