Bonaldo Bahia by Mauro Lipparini includes dining chairs, office chairs and stools with curved backs that extend forward into arm supports.
Slender metal structures carry the upholstered upper forms. The office chair uses a four-foot swivel base, while stools offer fixed heights or an adjustable swivel configuration. Fabric, leather and faux-leather coverings connect the different formats, carrying the same wrapping back shape from a dining table to a desk or counter.
Mauro Lipparini is an architect and designer who graduated in Florence in 1980. His practice, Studio Lipparini, works with clients across Europe and Asia. He remains the author of the studio's designs, developing furniture and other projects through close involvement with clients and the process of making.
