Ludovica + Roberto Palomba
Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba are architects and designers who have worked together since 1994, when they founded their studio, Palomba Serafini Associati, in Milan. The practice moves between architecture, interiors, industrial design and art direction, and the two describe their approach as holistic: every element of a project is tuned so that it reads as one identity. Their furniture and lighting grow out of observing how people actually live, connecting practical function with cultural references. On this site their work runs across Arketipo, Driade, Foscarini, Talenti and Vondom, and they have designed for and art-directed houses including Zanotta, Kartell and Artemide. Their work has been recognized with the Compasso d'Oro, the Elle Decoration International Design Award, the Red Dot and the German Design Award. Roberto Palomba has also taught in the industrial design department of the Politecnico di Milano since 2003.
