Marco Acerbis
Marco Acerbis is an Italian architect and designer, born in 1973. He graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1998 and worked in London with Norman Foster's studio, where he was project architect on the Capital City Academy school, before founding his own practice in Italy in 2004. His work moves between buildings, furniture and lighting, bringing tools and ideas from one scale to another, and treats outdoor pieces with the same care as interior ones. His Vertigo floor lamp for FontanaArte is in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum, and his work has received the Chicago Athenaeum's Good Design Award, two Red Dot awards and an honorable mention at the XXI Compasso d'Oro.
