U Turn Lounge Chair
U Turn by Bensen is a swivel lounge chair that reworks the rounded form of a traditional club chair.
An undercut seat creates foot space, and the discreet circular metal base turns through 360 degrees. Inside the upholstered body, a steel frame and injection-molded foam support the seat, with a multi-density foam cushion and removable covers available.

Bendtsen Design Associates
Bendtsen Design Associates is the Vancouver studio of Niels Bendtsen and his partner Giancarlo Stefani. Bendtsen was born in Denmark, moved to Canada in 1951 and learned furniture from his father, a cabinetmaker, rather than at school. He opened his first shop in West Vancouver in 1963, selling Danish modern furniture, sold it in the early 1970s and spent the decade in Denmark as a freelance designer, where his Ribbon chair entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Back in Vancouver in the 1980s he built the store into Inform Interiors, which he runs with his wife Nancy, and grew his own manufacturing into Bensen, whose furniture is made in Vancouver and in Pordenone, Italy; he received British Columbia's Creative Achievement Award of Distinction in 2006. The studio's designs on this site include the Canyon sectional, the Park lounge chair and the Tokyo dining chair for Bensen, and the Yumi armchair and chair for Moroso.
