High Stool — Sirka Grey Stained Beech, 69 cm
The Mater High Stool in Sirka Grey stained beech pairs a solid beech frame with a black leather seat.
Designed by Space Copenhagen, the 69 cm height suits kitchen counters. Its gray water-based stain gives the wood a restrained finish, with an organic, backless form that keeps the sculptural structure visible beneath the upholstery.

Space Copenhagen
Space Copenhagen is a design studio founded in Copenhagen in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, who met as architecture students at the Royal Danish Academy. The studio works across architecture, interiors, furniture, lighting and creative direction, and calls its approach poetic modernism: a balance of opposites, classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal, shaped by a close interest in how people behave in a space. Its materials are typically wood, stone, leather and brass, chosen to age well. The studio's interiors include the restaurant Noma and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Denmark, the restoration of Arne Jacobsen's Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and the 11 Howard hotel in New York. In furniture it has designed for Mater, whose pieces appear on this site, as well as GUBI, Fredericia, &Tradition and Stellar Works.
