CRS Pianca
CRS Pianca, also credited as Pianca Studio, is the in-house design team of Pianca, the furniture house of Gaiarine, near Treviso. The Pianca family's cabinetmaking goes back centuries in the area; the company passed from workshop to industry in 1956 and has shown at the Salone del Mobile in Milan since its first edition in 1961. Under Aldo Pianca, from the 1980s, production grew into a complete furnishing system and distribution went international, and all of its furniture is still made around Gaiarine. The studio's designs include the Murano wardrobe and the Teatro walk-in closet, the Abaco table, the People cabinets and the Spazioteca shelving, developed alongside the house's outside designers such as Cristina Celestino, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Emilio Nanni and Calvi Brambilla. On this site Pianca's wardrobes, beds, dressers and nightstands include the studio's work.
