Filippo Mambretti studied furniture design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. His practice combines product and interior design with teaching in Switzerland. Based in Chiasso, he works with manufacturers and architectural practices, exploring how traditional forms can be reconsidered through changes in function, technology and construction.
