Vondom Mel includes a sofa, lounge chair, coffee tables and shared Gum/Mel dining furniture by Ramón Esteve.
Rounded polyethylene rails frame upholstered lounge cushions, while clustered supports carry round or oval HPL coffee-table tops. The dining chair and table use tubular aluminum structures, keeping their material distinct from the lounge pieces. Upholstery choices include boucle on the sofa and lounge chair, with the repeated curved forms connecting the outdoor range.
Ramón Esteve graduated in architecture in Madrid in 1990 and founded his studio in 1991. His practice covers architecture, interiors, industrial design and art direction. Projects range from hotels and restaurants to residences and furniture, with collaborations including Vondom, Talenti, Vibia and other manufacturers.
