Vondom Biophilia includes chairs, a lounge chair, a sofa, a coffee table and a round dining table by Ross Lovegrove.
Flowing ribs wrap around the polyethylene bodies, contrasting with smooth seating areas and tabletops. The forms range from a tall, tapering chair to broad lounge pieces and a ridged dining pedestal. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the range also offers illuminated dining-table configurations.
Ross Lovegrove studied industrial design at Manchester Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art. He began his career at Frogdesign before establishing his own practice in 1986. His work has developed through collaborations with manufacturers internationally, combining experience in industrial products with furniture and other design projects.
