Talenti Ermes is an outdoor umbrella system with coordinated base and seating accessories by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba.
A round 2.7 m fabric canopy uses an aluminum pole and ribs, with extensions providing three overall heights. The push-up opening mechanism locks in place and includes a safety pin. A wheeled concrete base supports the umbrella; an aluminum cover and circular upholstered ottoman are separate accessories that complete or surround the support.
Ludovica and Roberto Palomba develop furniture and other design projects through observation of everyday behavior. Their joint practice connects practical functions with cultural references and research into changing ways of living. They have designed products for Vondom, Driade, Foscarini and Talenti.
