Reflex Angelo Bastide includes Andrée Putman’s dining chair and bar stool, both defined by tall oval upholstered backs.
Glossy lacquered wooden frames contrast straight, slender supports with the curved upholstery. Each format offers versions with or without arms and fabric or leather coverings. The stool raises the shared design to bar height, with an optional return-swivel mechanism providing an additional seating arrangement within the family.
Andrée Putman worked across architecture, interiors and products. Her projects included Morgans Hotel in New York, the Air France Concorde interior and Paris's Pershing Hall Hotel. During the 1980s, she also helped reintroduce furniture and lighting by designers including Eileen Gray, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Mariano Fortuny.
