Vol Table by Stefen Scholten is a table with a solid and elegant appearance, born from the encounter of two geometric shapes: a conical base formed by the repetition of three sheets of birch plywood, and a circular top made of the same material.

Designed on an essential construction principle, Vol is covered in linoleum, an ancient and recyclable material composed of a recipe of natural elements including linseed oil from which it takes its name. Developed and patented in the second half of the nineteenth century, and then gradually replaced by vinyl or rubber products that represent the cheaper alternative, and with which it is often mistakenly confused, linoleum enhances the geometric shapes of the table thanks to its chromatic effects that infuse softness and warmth to surfaces and furnishings. Warm to the touch, resistant to fingerprints and elastic, linoleum is ideal for covering soft and curved shapes, as well as for a more geometric and linear design. Clay, leather and walnut are the colors chosen for the table that accentuate its natural inspiration.

Vol is also available in Ecotone, the technological material of recycled glass composite sheets that include a resin derived from bio compounds and a silica content of less than 5 percent.

Available sizes: ∅ 140 cm, oval 240 x 120 cm, oval 300 x 140 cm

Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.

Product care

Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
