As of 2018, one of the most successful products in the Cappellini catalogue, the Wooden Cloud bookshelf by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, is now available in a new version that further exalts the Cloud’s forms and geometries: originally made of rotationally moulded white polyethylene, the bookshelf is now available in wood, veneered with either bleached ash or rosewood.
Based upon a two-sided structure with hollow compartments, Wooden Cloud is composed of modules that can be interconnected with a retracting joint.
Frame: Multilayer poplar Ash veneered, Multilayer mahogany rosewood veneered
Finish: 113 natural ash, 190 rosewood
