The new Shell modular system, developed by DVO, is the result of the combination of three different yet extremely similar factors: the home, the office and nature. It is an innovative system that brings a familiar comfort and warmth to the workspace, essential for the well-being that people naturally need.
These are configurable and functional micro-architectures, adaptable to office life and conceived according to an ‘activity-based working’ logic, usable for the specific activity to be carried out during the day, designed to provide an alternative to the traditional layout, and to encourage collaboration and interaction between people. The DV650-Shell Collection consists of basic modules that can be configured into multiple solutions to create microenvironments and space division solutions.
Each small core of the DV650-Shell system can be transformed into a ‘safe space’ within an open space that, without structural boundaries and without limiting cooperation, requires an organisation of space to ensure acoustic well-being and privacy. Designed to encourage concentration and collaboration, they provide an alternative to the conventional division of space. The modules can be assembled to create training, hot desk, mindful or social areas.
Spaces to be lived and shared with cubicle office solutions available in several sizes that create private work areas, and small configurable niches that can have a different connotation according to daily needs, whether human or work-related: hosting a relaxation area, becoming a meeting area, multimedia space or becoming a focus work area.
