Good design, healthy support and exceptional value are always attractive and Sayl delivers all three. By using smart engineering to transform simple materials, we were able to make Sayl attainable for more people. Sayl designer Yves Bhar and our development team considered and reconsidered every part of the design and, in the end, created a full family of seating that sets the reference point in its class for quality, performance and design.
Since its introduction, the Sayl chair has been an excellent example of responsible design. Inspired by suspension bridges, structures that deliver the most using the least material, Yves Bhar applied the engineering principles of these amazing structures to create Sayl. The Eco-Dematerialised design of the work chair uses less material in more inventive ways to provide ergonomic support for people up to 159 kg.
Sayl now includes up to 1.37 kg (3 pounds) per chair of mismanaged plastic waste found near waterways (Ocean-bound plastic). Sayl with Ocean Bound plastic is available in all colours of the office chair and stools.
By adding ocean-bound plastic to Sayl and other products within its portfolio, Herman Miller estimates it will divert up to 326 metric tons of plastic from the ocean annually, which is equivalent to preventing up to 32 million water bottles.*
Sayls unframed 3D Intelligent back lets you stretch and move, striking a healthy balance between freedom and support. The elastomer strands vary in thickness and tension to provide greater support in the transition areas along the spine and less everywhere else, to encourage a full range of seated movement. It provides integrated PostureFit sacral support, which empowers your body to maintain a healthful upright posture with less fatigue. Harmonic Tilt supports the way you naturally move for a smooth and balanced recline.
The foundational shell of the fully upholstered work chair mimics the 3D Intelligent suspension, providing similar dynamic support in a more traditional back. An optional lumbar support is available on both work chair models and provides adjustment over a 10-cm range.
From a design point of view Sayls Y-Tower support and unframed back create a striking visual aesthetic that reveals both the designers inspiration and intent. Whether you choose the full-suspension or upholstered back, an expressive colour palette gives you plenty of options for personalising your chair.
Sayl chairs are produced on three continents to reduce the distance between factory and buyer. This product contains no PVCs and is composed of more than 30 percent recycled material. Additionally, is up to 92% recyclable after its use.**

Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
