With a truly Swiss sensibility inspired by classic design principles, the Rundet Chair appears almost like the outline of a chair an honest and distinctive piece of furniture, reduced to its most essential parts. This is not minimalism for minimalisms sake, but rather a study of materiality and aesthetics.
The geometry of the chair takes center stage. PlueerSmitt perfected the thin line of the backrest millimeter by millimeter, degree by degree, through countless sketches and discussions, until the prototype met their high standards.
With a visually unobtrusive silhouette, the Rundet Chair is ideal for both private and commercial spaces, and particularly suited to the hospitality sector such as restaurants, cafs, or bars that seek a contemporary aesthetic highlighting craftsmanship and top-quality materials.
