Plauto is a wooden table designed by Paolo Cappello and Simone Sabatti for Miniforms.
Like the Roman playwright after which it is named, Plauto scans the past seeking ideas for the future. It does this by setting a single actor – wood – centre-stage, where it can perform in a whole repertoire of shapes: flat, curved, pointed… For connoisseurs, it’s a production not to be missed; for us it’s simply a tribute to a material we love. Then again, excellent raw materials and consolidated craftsmanship combined with simplicity will never fail to amaze.
