Opera is a solid, handcrafted table system with a sculptural expression and full functionality. Inspired by a stylized pilaster, a play between light, shadow and transparency is created. The base with its airiness and at the same time stability, creates a beautiful and exciting unit. Opera has a wide range of uses in rooms that need a table where people want to gather around; to confer, chat, have a meal or just hang out. Opera is available in two heights with table tops that can have rectangular, square, round, oval, or irregular shapes.
The table tops are made of veneered MDF. For the rectangular and oval shapes, the base is in the form of rectangular ends. The other tables have round column in solid wood, which have weights at the bottom for stability. The finish is oak, ash, standard stains on ash and white-pigmented oak or ash. The top is also available in laminate (white, black, oak*, ash*) and black desktop. Special dimensions and other designs upon request.
As an option, there are different solutions for electrical outlets. The details for the electrical outlets in the table are well developed and the flexibility is great since you can use the space in the base to run cables. Access to the space in the base is obtained by easily dismantling some of the frame’s ribs via magnetic fasteners. This provides access to the table’s underlying frame for further cable routing in the table and down to the floor. The table is delivered unassembled where the table top needs to be mounted on the base. It is also easy to disassemble the table with hand tools.
