The MM8 table explores the limits of material in relation to its structural properties, exploiting the physical qualities of aluminium. The construction brings an overall tension to the structure, allowing the top to reach a minimum thickness of 8 mm. The weights contained inside the two cylinders increase the rigidity of the surface, counterbalancing the forces in order to ensure high stability. The resulting composition gives the piece a strong monolithic presence highlighted by the accentuated contrast between the impressive volumes of the base and the extreme thickness of the top.
