An everyday object, a known shape acquired from collective memory, of which it bears the familiar aspect, the trace of a correlation. Mathilda is a modern project in the architectural sense, in the proportional relationship between the whole and the detail. The idea is simple, perfect for the function for which it is reserved: two trestles confer solidity and belonging, they support the seat lending themselves simultaneously as supports for the backrest and as a stackable support. The intuition, considered and sober, brings the project back to the contemporary, in the possibility of evolving towards a coherent, functional and recognizable seating system.

Top in MDF veneered in the finishes indicated, base in solid oak. Feet in polypropylene with interchangeable felt/polyamide pads.
