Designed by Alain Gilles, LOUVER TABLE gradually reveals itself, offering a different perspective depending on the angle from which it is observed. With its strong scenic presence, making it the focal point of the room, LOUVER TABLE interprets the designer’s vision of evoking an imaginary passageway, ideally the ancient entrance to a temple, where light plays a crucial role in creating suggestive shadows on the floor. The three legs give the table a dynamic feel, allowing light to create fascinating perspective effects that make the legs appear slender or imposing, light curves or generous shapes, depending on where you look at it from. The design of the table is enhanced by the different finishes with which it can be made, in both the single-material and multi-material versions. The single-material version is available in hand-spatulated clay or with a wooden top and base. Alternatively, you can choose from numerous variants: the top, available in ceramic, marble or wood, can be combined with a metal or wooden base (LOUVER TABLE WOOD), creating a striking contrast with the solid elements of the base.
