The Lakelet tables are the new poetic expression of design by the Swedish studio Front, a project that was born as a natural completion of the Pebble Rubble collection.
If the generous padded volumes of Pebble Rubble evoke with their organic shapes the stones encountered while walking in the woods, solid and material, the Lakelet tables represent the ethereal and liquid counterpoint. Inspired by the changing beauty of Nordic nature , the tables evoke the surface of water through fluid shapes and iridescent colors, as if reflected in a body of water.
Made of curved glass and featuring tops decorated with watercolour motifs, the Lakelet tables explore the relationship between matter and landscape, light and reflection. Their organic and sensorial design captures the essence of small lakes (“lakelet” in English), translating onto glass the nuances of nature in constant transformation, between seasons, lights and environments.
The collection is composed of three tables of different heights and sizes, designed to be combined in a scenographic composition or used individually. Each piece is a unique design element , perfect for furnishing domestic or contract spaces with personality, from contemporary living to the most sophisticated lounge areas.
Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
