The importance of fusing decorative art, craft and design
An armchair that is both functional and decorative, with a handcrafted feel but contemporary lines. Klara features a frame with an experimental design of extreme formal precision, where the armrests, freed from the connection with the backrest, are structurally free. The project reinterprets the spirit of the first avant-gardes of industrial design, based on the close collaboration between art, industry and craftsmanship. Elegant and comfortable, it harks back to the first serial productions of the early twentieth century, also due to the use of Vienna straw, an artisanal weaving technique practiced in Friuli a hundred years ago.
Frame in beech or oak. Seat and back in curved plywood covered in fireproof polyurethane foam.
The Klara collection is available in three different versions:
– with back in Vienna straw
– with back covered in fabric or leather
– with capitonné work back in fabric or leather
