The desire to get a sofa to live has produced Kim. More than a sofa we should define it as a “system”, where the complement completely flips the functions inside the domestic spaces. If we usually think of the accessory bookcases as elements added behind the sofas, with Kim the bookshelf becomes part of the sofa; you need it by recreating an idea of an alcove totally devoted to relaxation. It is no coincidence that the project born as Kim finds its natural upgrade with the Kim Relax version: high, comfortable cushions with progressive knock down mechanism. Characterizing the wooden foot in the colors of the accessories that is covered in a contemporary interpretation of the ancient uose (low gaiters), objects fallen into disuse but symbol of masculine elegance up to the 30s.
