What do we understand about Karma? For many it is the great law of cause and effect. That in order to get what you want; you have to embody and be worthy of those things. Known as Pali Kamma, the Indian religion and philosophy, Karma is the ‘universal causal law by which good or bad actions determine the future modes of an individual’s existence.’

So how does this apply to design? How do we embody an ancient Eastern philosophy that speaks about receiving what we put out into the world? For Gino Carollo, it is an investigation into “who we are” and the way we do that in today’s fast paced society is through mirroring, or in his world, the mirror.

Based on different forms and features, Karma by Gino Carollo is a way of looking at the world we live in, the world we want to embody, and our existence based on that. From small to large, long to wide, circular to abstract, Karma is about extracting different things from different shapes and dimensions, finished to the highest standard. Depending on the sizes, there are different combinations of mirror colours: bronze and smoked, transparent and bronze, transparent and smoked.
Karma is about understanding our actions and, in our Karma, it’s about a greater understanding of ourselves.

Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.

Product care

Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
