The Karen daybed gives the outdoor environment an intimate and reassuring atmosphere, thanks to the African-inspired design that recalls the appearance of a protective cocoon. The craftsmanship of the back, supported by countless threads that are intertwined with the armrests rings, gives rise to a meeting between cultures. The curved and enveloping lines of the upholstery and the fabrics of the cushions radiate the unique beauty of African lands.
A project that focuses on aesthetics and craftsmanship. The encounter between different cultures and the love for Africa have allowed the Palomba Serafini Studio to create a unique collection in which it was wanted to transport the strength and beauty of this land, from the interlaced rings that become armrests and the countless threads of fabric that support the backrests. Its curved lines make the appearance of a throne and the enveloping shapes give the cushions the appearance of a shelter, a protective cocoon.
