In the Mangiafuoco project , signed by the design duo Zanellato/Bortotto for Moroso, a simple copper object, covered in glass powders, acquires an unexpected splendor once fired at high temperatures, taking on surprising colors while maintaining the nature of the metal intact.
In the two round tables, the large enamelled surface plays on the passage of different and unpredictable colours, born from the juxtaposition and overlapping of vitreous powders and from the rigorous respect of the firing times.
The result is unique, imperfect objects, and for this reason so seductive, profound and exciting.
