Ellipse is the new modular sofa system designed by Chiara Andreatti for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.
The project—developed through modular units defined by organic shapes and soft profiles—celebrates versatility and asymmetry, offering endless compositional possibilities and configurations. The name evokes the sinuousness of its forms, delicately shaped as if smoothed over by time. The brand’s heritage and the stylistic elements that have always made it iconic and recognizable are echoed in the bentwood frame that outlines the sofa’s backrests and armrests, embellished with either Vienna straw or hand-woven leather. The upholstered volumes rest on a platform in natural-stained ash or canaletto walnut, which gives the compositions both lightness and stability. The project is completed by small wooden tables that can be integrated into the structure.

Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.
